Is Ranged or Magic better for PvM?
Both are strong depending on the boss. Ranged (Blowpipe/Bowfa) excels at most standard bosses. Magic shines where targets are weak to magic. Endgame players typically max both.
Do I need Ava's Accumulator for 99 Ranged?
It's not required, but Ava's Accumulator (55 Ranged, from Animal Magnetism quest) is highly recommended — it returns most ammunition, saving significantly on supplies over 13 million XP.
