Track Your Progress to 99 Hitpoints
Hitpoints is OSRS's only fully passive combat skill — you earn HP XP automatically every time you deal damage. Reaching 99 Hitpoints gives you 990 HP, dramatically increasing survivability for bossing and the Inferno.

Why train Hitpoints?
More HP means more health to tank hits before eating food. At 99 HP you have 990 HP vs 550 at level 60. This is especially important for the Inferno, Raids, and extended boss sessions.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I train Hitpoints directly?
No — Hitpoints XP is earned passively at 1.33× your combat XP rate (for every 3 Strength XP, you earn 4 HP XP). The only way to raise HP level is through combat.
Is 99 Hitpoints worth pursuing?
It's mostly a side effect of maxing other combat skills. By the time you reach 99 Attack, Strength, Defence, Ranged, and Magic, your Hitpoints will often be 95+ from passive accumulation.
How do I track my Hitpoints goal?
RuneGoals tracks any OSRS skill including Hitpoints. Enter your username, set a target level — RuneGoals reads your current HP XP from the hiscores and shows your progress. No login needed.
